Warren Special Recreation Association

Warren Special Recreation Association (WSRA) has coordinated recreational programs for individuals of all ages with special needs, since 1981. We take pride in working with local schools and governmental agencies so the best services possible are provided. WSRA serves more than 100 individuals of all ages with disabilities in over 350 recreation programs, special events, and trips annually. Our staff is professionally trained in the provision of therapeutic recreation for people with disabilities. We provide transportation for our program registrants and network with nonprofits and government.

WSRA is a partnership of Gurnee, Grandwood Park, and Wildwood Park Districts; and Warren Township. WSRA is located at 100 S. Greenleaf Street in Gurnee, which handles the administrative responsibilities and some programs. Various programs and summer day camps are held at the WSRA building at the Warren Township Center, 17801 W. Washington Street in Gurnee.

NEW Registration Software!

Dear WSRA Families,

WSRA is working on new registration software that will improve user experience. We will do our best to make this transition smooth but we do anticipate some bumps in the road as we learn this new software. Most of our families summer information has been added into the new software. If it has not, there are directions at the bottom of the page.

If you are curious and would like to take a look at the software and review/update information we have put in, take the following steps:

-  Click on the "sign in" button in the upper right hand corner
-  Click on "reset your password" in the light blue box
-  Enter your email address
-  You will receive an email to reset your password
-  Reset your password and log into your account

We hope to have the website complete and Fall/Winter Programs available for sign up by August 2nd. We appreciate your patience.
